e-CDF Project 423/525

Information Literacy e-Learning Modules - Reusable and portable across a College of Education, a Polytechnic and a University

Information Literacy e-Learning Modules is funded through the Tertiary Education Commission's e-Learning Collaborative Development Fund (eCDF). It is a 2-year collaborative project between the University of Otago, Dunedin College of Education and Otago Polytechnic. One of the main goals of the project is to design, implement and evaluate up to 11 authentic task-based information literacy modules which are underpinned by the ANZIIL standards.

Five authentic task-based modules have been developed and and are currently being evaluated with users. Six skills-based modules have also been developed and are ready for evaluation by users. An online platform to allow modules to be edited and recontextualised is now available.
We are very interested in receiving feedback from people who have tried the modules, or the online editor. To find out more, click on Research and Evaluation.
