If you are needing to look for reference material for your scientific report, or locate information sources from a reading list supplied by your lecturer, it is important that you are able to identify various information sources that may be useful.

There are many different types of information sources that may be helpful. Some sources may be more appropriate than others.

  • Articles (academic journal articles, popular magazine articles or newspaper articles)
  • Websites
  • Government reports
  • Primary and secondary sources of information
