With so much information available today, in many different formats and from many different sources, each piece of information that you select for your assignment must be carefully analysed or evaluated. Some general criteria to consider when you are evaluating information sources include:
- Is the information relevant?
- Is the information reliable?
- Is the information current?
- Is the information free from bias?
- Is the information suitable for your audience?
