Access the internet

Internet access refers to the means by which users connect to the Internet. There are many ways to access the Internet. You will often find that many libraries or other public services provide access to the Internet. In many cities and tourist destinations there can often be found Internet cafes where people pay to use a computer and the Internet. Schools, colleges and universities often provide access to the Internet, and many mobile phones and similar devices have the ability to access the Internet.

Common methods of internet access include

  • landline (over coaxial cable, fiber optic or copper wires),
  • T- lines,
  • Wi-Fi,
  • satellite and
  • cell phones.
